Elijah was one of the greatest of the great prophets of Israel.There is much for us to learn from his Faith. Elijah was also "A man subject to like passions as we are." so in other words,He was tempted and tried just like all of us are. because of this, we are even more able to learn from him, because he had to learn faith the same way we do today. Elijah was called "the prophet Of fire" Because everything he did was done with fervor.He lived what he believed, and wasn't ashamed of it. sometimes he became the victim of his own disappointed expectations. But, by faith, he was triumphant. Even his leaving from this life shows the way he lived. Faith shines it's brightest in dark difficult times.The days in Elijah's time were dark. Israel's Spiritual life was was falling,and all of Israel's kings were growing more and more wicked. Elijah faced many situations that required faith and tested it severely.
                   Following Elijah's example will strengthen our faith when we read how this man of god lived.God needs faithful Boys, girls, Men and Women. we need to be devoted to God and his kingdom. God is looking for faithful servants who fearlessly tell the gospel and live it out in daily life.

Elijah's God Still Lives today,
O Blessed Be His Name.
And when his children to him pray,
He answers still the same;
Yes, He controls the universe.
All things obey his word.
And when, By faith we call on Him,
Our Humble prayer is heard.
