Hey there - I'm Jess! I'm an giggling freak and an organizing geek - yes, I'm thirteen and I absolutely love to organize! Spit Spot!

Last night we watched the classic ‘Mary Poppins’, acted by the famous actress Julie Andrews. You know, ‘A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go do-wn, the medicine go down.” and, ‘supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’. As I was watching the ‘Well begun is half done’ game, I had to write down her words of orderly wisdom down.

Well begun is half done, in other words, let’s tidy up the nursery.

You see, to every job that must be done,

There is an element of fun.

Click my fingers and go get them eh??? I have been cleaning all day (and doing a bit of laundry, and playing with the two year old mixed in there for good measure of course), but I promise to click my fingers and go get them tomorrow ok??? LOL

By the way, I just wanted you to know that I have stolen your word Blitzing. I hope you don't mind. On a website (www.flylady.com), they talk about cleaning and hitting the "hot spots", or doing a "15 minute room rescue", and I instead call it blitzing for our home.

So, each night before going to bed, I do a quick blitz in the living room (we practically live in this one room! LOL) to tidy up before going to bed. I pick up any drink glasses that need to go to the kitchen, pick up toys that our Noah has left out, straighten up pillows on the couch, basically put things away that others have left out, before going to bed.

Have a great weekend my dear. I hope to see you around here more often!!

Oh, and got the bug to declutterize my laundry room, hang some new hooks for jackets and purses,( since we will be using the back door just off the laundry room ), and even even got ont he sewing machine and made new curtains for the room. I have pictures of the new curtains from a few days ago in my archives, if you would like to see them!!
