Mon-17-Dec-2007 - Growing up....
I have so many things to blog about it’s hard to know where to start, so rather than not blog at all I'm going to try to catch up gradually. 
Elijah slept the first 6 hours of the night through two nights in a row! The first time I thought it was a fluke. The second time, I sat on the edge of the bed cradling him and I realized that as thankful as I was for the sleep, my little boy is growing up….and that made me feel very solemn.
So many moments, gone! Have I spend enough time gazing into his blue eyes? Have I held his tiny sleeping body enough hours?
In a way I’m not ready for him to start growing up, and in another way I’m so excited to watch who he is going to become, to watch him grow…..

Oh how well I remember those days..... my babies always slept 7 hours strait at about 6 weeks or so........ I was elated I could sleep but also so sad that they were growing up! Keep loving on that baby......they grow up way too fast!
