Mon-9-Jun-2008 - Everything's Better with Daddy
The grass is greener, the meals are more fun, it's even easier to shop and stuff.
I happened to take more pictures than usual of our weekend. And I wanted to share since I'm in a photo-blogging mood.
To start, I got a picture of Elijah sitting up. I LOVE IT! 
And a picture of him standing.
Oh! These photos were taken Thursday. But that's not really important because it was evening, that wonderful time of day when dads are home playing with their boys. And mowing and stuff like that.
On Friday night we hit the town. On our bikes and a loaf of moldy bread.
Samuel enjoyed the ducks in a big way! And he was bit by a goose. So he ended up a bit prejudice against birds larger than himself! But only slightly.
Here is proof that Elijah and I were there!
And the super, duper slide Samuel went down, all by himself!
This morning, Samuel got a haircut and learned how to give a thumb's up sign!
And then he took a shower and fell asleep in my lap. It turned me into mush! I probably rocked him 20 minutes before I laid him gently in his bed. 
Now here the story of this afternoon. We drove into town to get some carpet to put in a closet we've torn the carpet out of. On the way back, I looked in the back and Samuel had found half a stale Oreo. Who knows how old! He was holding it rather skeptically and so I told him:
"Enjoy that old cookie, buddy."
A few minutes later we looked back in seat to see . . . .
ELIJAH EATING THE COOKIE!!!!
All gone!
