Jonash .... Two of a Kind Working on a Full House

A Little About Me:

Hello! I'm Ashley - a young wife to my Beloved and mother of two sons with a suprise blessing on the way in Jan '09. ************************************* The Lord is my Shepherd (Ps.23:1), the Chief Sheperd (1Pet 5:4), the Good Shepherd (John 10:14) and the Great Sheperd (Heb 13:20). As a sheep I want to know His voice and depend on Him and follow Him. I am certainly a work in progress! ********************************** Thank you for stopping by my blog. I greatly enjoy your comments, although I do not get a chance to respond to each one. I hope you enjoy your time in my little corner of the web! ~Ashley~

Elijah and I.

My boys.

Most pictures don't show what spazes they are. This one does!

This is a direct result of being raised by a spazoid mama. They very quickly learn that when mom does something totally random, laugh. It's supposed to be funny and she's trying really hard. I can control my tendancy to make strange faces and noises in public, but I'm not shocked my boys can't. Usually I just fold my hands and look calm like I don't know why Samuel is stopping mid-stride and randomly standing on his head. His daddy must have taught him that!

The onery ones. Not taking a nap as Mommy has asked them to.

Daddy's version of baby-watching.

I hung a picture one day. You can't hear the BEEEEEEEEEP ... BEEEEEEEEP of Samuel "copying" me. I hope my suffering pays off one day and I hear my son say "Sure, mom, I can hang that for you. Let me go grab that little tool you used to let me play with - I know how to use it now."

And this, my friends, is what we did one evening last week. We watched this itty-bitty spider build this web. It was facinating! He moved so fast that we wished he would slow down and let us watch more closely. We probably watched him build 2/3's of the web, staring at the tiny intricate gauze, our faces inches apart. Talking in soft, hushed voices as we pondered the miracle of God's design as the spider went around and around. I wish I had a better picture. To put it in perspective I'm not sure you could put a pencil lead between the strands and the spider was almost transparent.

What can I say? We don't have cable. We are easily amused.

Your boys remind me so much of mine. My first two were 16 months apart and all boy. They are now 10 and 11 but every once in awhile I see glimpses of the little boys they were. Enjoy your boys, they grow up too fast.

Your boys are absolutely adorable!!!! Their sweet little faces and smiles are such treasures. Are they always this happy??? LOL

I love the picture of daddy's version of babysitting. LOL It reminds me of my own hubby and his own version of babysitting our 2 year old Noah. He is more electronically minded though, so it would be Noah sitting on the floor while Matthew changed out a mother board in the computer or something. LOL

Thanks for sharing the family pictures!

God's Blessings,
Amy Jo
