| I finally got to make soap yesterday, and I have got to tell you how much fun it was. I can't wait until the soap is actually done and ready to be cut into bars - I'll need to wait at least four weeks. I made a slideshow of all the pictures we took so you can see how we did it in order. The scent I made the soap was citrus (orange, lemon, tangerine), and I was afraid it wouldn't have a strong scent but it does. I am looking forward to making more and using it, sending it to friends, and "showing off"! haha! So here you go... Goat Milk Soap Recipe 16 oz (1 1/2 bars) Grated Pure Olive oil Soap Bar 14 oz Fresh Goat Milk 1 oz Cocoabutter Directions: First I grated the POO bars into a bowl; then I grated the peels off the lemon and tangerine, and squeezed the juice from both into peels. Afterwards, I mixed cocobutter in with the milk and added the rest of the ingredients. I heated up the pan, and melted the mix for about 30minutes and then poured it all into a pan, lined with freezer paper. I will let this sit for four weeks until firm and ready to cut into bars. Thank you KeriMae for all the help you offered me and the advice! |
