I want to announce the NEW online magazine for girls, Growing In Grace, and present you with the very first issue of the magazine that was published yesterday!
For this issue I wrote two articles, Thorns and Roses- “If I just had the MONEY…” & Think Pink- “The Basics“, and I will possibly be writing three more next issue, co-authoring one with Brielle. That will be a total of five articles for the next issue! Whew, but it’s been a lot of fun. A great way to show young ladies how to truly grow in the grace of the Lord.
2 Peter 3: 18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
If you are interested, there are icons and a blogroll and a topsites and other girly things to join and put on your blog. There is also a Pet of the Month, if you or your daughters are interested in sending your entry in.
If you have a product or service that you offer online, sign up and join the Growing in Grace Top 100 Girl Vendors list. Girls of all ages are welcome!
My Mom and Amanda also wrote some articles, and Rachel will be joining us in the next issue.
Cloak and Dagger- “Battling the War in Our Thoughts” by Miss Amanda
C.I.A.- “What is a Friend?” By Miss Amanda
Bridging the Gap ~ Building Relationships Between Mothers and Daughters ~ “A Sweet Relationship” by Jacque Dixon
They post daily on Growing In Grace, so you can always be sure there is something new at the site. I encourage you to stop over there and check everything out!
And with all this pink and girly stuff… I’ve been feelin’ feminine, especially with Brooke’s challenge to wear skirts for one whole week and post pictures. Since I don’t go somewhere everyday and I have two skirts exactly the same I will post my “going out” outfit. In the summer I have a few more skirts/shirts to wear, but in the winter… I have this outfit (and yes I am holding sleeping Luli):
And don't forget to send in a Homestead Carnival submission in today! Kitty @ Kit's Korn will be hosting the 35th carnival!! You can use the BlogCarnival form to do so. All you do is enter in your post URL and push send! Easy has pie. ; )
Blessings!!
A Perfect Day
