Oh my… I had no idea that you and your sis would post about my little gifts
That was so sweet of you. Your post so kind an thoughtful…it almost made me cry…I don’t have friend here…(Rose is like a sister of course), but it is wonderful that know that I have you and your sisters as my friends too.
I loved making you all a little something…I know how much you wanted a bonnet…Oh dear I forgot to tell you that in the 18oo’s there were different ways to tie your bonnet. If it was tied in the middle it said you were a widow, if it was tied on the left it said that you were married, but if it was tied on the right it said that you were unmarried.
That bonnet looks so cute on you….I love it!
Do you mind if I add some of your pictures on my blog? I’m going to do a new category of Pioneer style costumes that I’ve made …and am making.

I have made myself a bonnet before but it's a pilgrim bonnet I love the style of that one!!!!!!!

Ok... enough flattery, now get that bow on the right side... I mean - yes, the right... tho you won't be looking for prospects for a few years yet. But, you look like an old school marm with it tied in the middle like that!

I am so happy with everything she made! It was all beautiful and so thoughtful and sweet of her!
