LOL on selling the dogs :D

It's great you are learning the ups and downs while you are a youth at home and not having to live it as a married adult lol. What a great education :) Here people pay $10,000 for one horse and sell it in a month. It's nuts.

Oh yes, I've heard of straw bale houses and started to build one in 2003. Actually, you'd never know you were living in one! They're probably the most economical homes anyone could ever live in. Gerald and I also considered insulating our house in straw bales. It's pretty much fire-proof, it insulates very well and as long as there's a vapor barrier it's safe environmentally too. Our only problem is that our wall height is sooooooooo high that neither or us would be willing to climb that high to get it where it needs to go...Our wall height is 16ft....LOL. Here's a website if your parents allow you to go there... http://strawbalehomes.org/

I thought your avatar looked familiar! I've seen you at your Tolkien site. I was looking at the homestead carnival, and your name was first. I just knew it was a Nubian goat when you said "bleating..." I raised Nubians for a few years and they are most vocal! But the milk...yum!
Hey, fellow novelist! There is another young novelist on HSB (homeschooling). Her name is Lyric and she writes fantasy. Here's her link:
