Ah, Monday, the start of a new fresh week! What will it bring? What lessons will God teach us? What fruits of the Spirit shall we work on? I don’t know, but I am ready and waiting to receive all that God has for me. It’s week 2 of the Simple Woman’s Daybook for me. I hope you will join me and when you do, add your SWD link into the Mister Linky so I can make sure to read them!
To participate in the meme is simple. All you do is answer the bolded questions with your own answers and then link yourself at the Simple Woman’s blog each week. You’re always welcome to check out the other ladies’ Daybooks who participated. This is a very sweet homekeeping meme that I’d encourage you to do as well.

I am thinking…of what photo I shall use below. Of Eric - I hope he shall be alright because he stepped on a nail today.
I am thankful for…for a God who promises so many wonderful things to me. He said never should I fear for His is with me, even when it seems as if I am standing alone.
From the kitchen…Rachel is making homemade cinnamon buns with glaze, hopefully this time I’ll get one!
I am wearing…A white skirt, navy blue t-shirt, and black crocs (we call them garden-shoes).
I am reading…Same as I was last time, the Meeting Place by Janette Oke, and my novel (editing and reading). No, you may not ask what my novel is about. I am sorry, but ’tis a secret! I’ve kept it locked away for the past 3 years where only a few eyes have been able to view it until I finally get it published. I’ve began writing this novel back in 2005 when I was 14. It’s historical fiction set back in the late 1800s basically about a girl on a farm…. sound familiar? I’ve got so many novels locked up in my mind. If only they’d just write themselves on paper, edited, and ready to go. Ah well, I have fun reading through, and although I know what happens, some part just make me laugh every time. Yeah, I know kinda corny.
I am hoping…to see Emily Rose and Breezy again soon! Perhaps this week!!!
I am hearing…Clamoring from in the living room. Mother Dear is talking to Grammy on the phone while Amanda is taking care of the Littles.
Around the house…stuff. We’re cleaning everything out and doing some home improvement work.
One of my favorite things…Receiving emails from my friends and family, saying hello and ‘I love you’ just because.

Blessings!
