That is what I want to do anyways, but it won’t change a gosh-darn thing. Sigh.

My computer is DEAD, well not dead, but will do nothing but show the desktop background. All my files, photos, graphics, and emails are on there but there is no way to access them. I don’t know if we can take it in somewhere and get the files off the motherboard, but I sure hope so.

I am just beside myself. I just want to cry and cry and hope when I’m done my computer will be working, but I know that is not so.

Computer crashed last night… Mother Dear has been using my computer because her laptop is dead (Long story short, Best Buy is really stinky when it comes to quick, accurate customer service. I’d recommend by directly from a computer company, like Dell) and opened a site that was saying it was a hacker site, but we know the lady and she said it was a false alarm (though it said it had infected my computer). However just to be safe we went to download the Microsoft updates and it killed my computer. It downloaded, restarted, and then nothing. Just a blank desktop image.

*Runs to bed and sobs into the pillow*

I’m not sure what can be done. I know there must be a way to get the files off the motherboard. I know there must be.

This is a bigger problem than most of you probably realize. Losing my computer isn’t just losing my hobby or a toy. It’s losing my business and all my hard work. I do so much work, actual business related work, on the computer and for now it’s gone and you can’t even use the computer. I have read, on several blogs, about people taking time off their blogs, and while I think that is great, can’t just take a break from the work Jesus has called me to. I don’t view my blog as just a hobby. It’s so much more. God IS using it for His glory. I’m not sure if my time online will be limited because we are down to 2 computers in a house of 5 bloggers with 20+ sites to run between us. Right now I’m typing this up on the very poor, slow computer that would turn a young man grown before it actual loaded pages. I really just need a laptop of my own and I praying God will make a way for me to have one.

So…. if you sent me any emails within the past 24hours I did NOT get them. If you would go through your sent items and resend them, I’d be obliged. Also resend your favourite verses. Those are on there too.

And please just pray that we can get this all sorted out. Pray that Mother Dear’s laptop cord will arrive soon. Pray that we can get Windows XP Professional operating system on this crappy computer soon too. Pray that a laptop will arrive, courtesy of UPS, at my door. Hehe…. hey, a girl can dream can’t she?
