"Never doubt in the dark what God has shown you in the light". -Michelle Terrill

Hmm! This is to my dad. My e-mail buddy. The one I can count on to read the forwards I send and comment on them.

The one I can count on to debate with me.

The one I can ask, "What do you think about this?"

The one who knows how to spell things and use proper grammar, and has finally seen me care some about the aforementioned, but also gives me grace in that area when I don't know or don't care.

The one who inspired me to want to be a college professor because I saw the affection between him and his students.

The one who wasn't afraid to ask why, and has inspired me to ask why (yeah, its your fault dad).

The one who taught me that I can ask my kids for forgiveness when I goof up and it does make a difference to them, because it always made a difference to me when he said sorry, and he was always ready forgive me.

The one (with mom) who encourages me to try, believing that I can succeed.

Thanks mom and dad for being faithful to each other and to us.

Thanks for loving God, loving each other,  loving us, and loving others.

I love you.

Happy Birthday Dad.

What a great post!

My Dad is also my hero! :D Although he's been with Jesus for 20 years, I still miss him soooo much!
The headache is totally gone! I know so many people prayed for me about that - How Wonderful that God hears!
I loved the dyeing - and it may be that if you could get merino wool, that would work great for your baby. I haven't heard of anyone doing it - but wool is a marvelous fiber! Need to get batteries (AGAIN!) for the camera - so hopefully I'll get some pictures posted. I'll ask Leslie if Angora wool would work for diapers. :D Thanks for rambling - I love it!! ~Linda in Virginia

About Me

A non-green thumb who loves plants, and wants to know "why" about everything, likes to eat what is fresh, and is so amazed at the world God has made, and sometimes not so impressed by the things man can make, who wants to learn how to be a good care-taker of all that God has blessed us with, and be thankful and generous with it. Oh yeah, and I homeschool :)
