• Wednesday, February 4, 2009 - Having a baby!

Having a baby is more fun then anything else I have ever done. You never do the same thing two days in a row.It is so much fun watching the different faces they make everyday. When they are old enough to start doiong things it gets even more fun. Rolling over, sitting up, Trying to talk, laughing, smiling, knowing who you are, etc. Fun, fun , fun...

My son is almost 5 months old now. And I love watching him do different things every new day. He rolled over at 3 weeks old.( he started doing everything really early.) He is teething! He sits up now, and he loves to do that. He smiled for the first time at Daddy, before he was even 24 hours old. He is my pride and Joy. Ilove having a baby.

• Tuesday, February 3, 2009 - surviving!!!!

I thank God everyday for the parents that I have, because the taught me how to survive. I was homeschooled but we didn't just learn from text books. We would go on side jobs withdad and learn different things, like building a house, putting on a roof, framing, sheet rock, mudding, throwing hay, wiring, everything and anything you can think of. It was always so mush fun! We were taught to work hard, do your best, and always be on time. ( actually it was always better to be about 5 minutes early). A job is never done until everything is cleaned up and put back where it came from, cleaning up is also part of the job.

Mom also taught us other things that weren't in text books. Main things that you have to know when you are living on your own. Things like the laundry, washing dishes, cooking, gardening, cleaning ( the right way), taking care of babies. These are all very important things. They were fun sometimes and others well you know. Cleaning and changing diapers isn't always that much fun. But, it still has to be done!

A lot of people take all these things for granted. But, if you look at people now a days they can't even do their own laundry; and really it isn't that difficult a tack.

Surviving is a big part of life, and I thank God that I had parents who taught me so much about it. When you work hard and show up early people like that and they want you to come back. Right there usually guarentees that you will be able to get a job real easy. And being able to clean the house, cook the family meals( without burning them), and taking care of the children also bring you satisfaction that you are able to do something and that you can take care of your family.

Surving do you know the importance of it. Having great parents or being great parents is a great way to figure it out. So, don't just send your kids off to school, or just hand them their text books. Teach them something that will be with them for the rest of their lives. Like start out by letting them help you make a batch of cookies, it is fun for the kids, you get to spend time wtih them; and if you use measuring cups it is a good math lesson.

Have fun, learning and teaching ways to survive!

• Sunday, November 2, 2008 - A little of this and that!

Well, it looks like winter is already over(not). We got a bunch of snow Tuesday then it was looking like January. Now it warmed up a bit and it's back to looking like October.  It's almost Thanksgiving!!!!! Are you all ready? I'm not ready yet, we still have some shopping to do. My husband(daniel) and I did some Christmas shopping for our son( Gabriel) the other day; that was fun. I would like to have all of my Christmas shopping done by the end of November! Actually I was hoping I would've already been done by now! How many of you like to get your Christmas shopping done before September? That is usually the goal my mother sets for all us kids every year. We usually get close, but I don't think we've ever actually finished by September.

I really had no idea what to write about today, so I wrote about a little of this and a little of that !!!!!!!!

• Wednesday, October 29, 2008 - Daddy

Dad has been planning on leaving since Monday. He finally ended up leaving today. He had a lot of things to get done and people to say goodbye to. It is very sad seeing him go, but it is also exciting at the same time. It is exciting because he is doing what God wants him to be doing. But, it is very hard because I have know idea as to when I will ever see him again. I am praising God that he is now saved and listening to God's calling on his life. I am believing God will let us see each other on this earth again, but I am not sure how long or short the time will be in between. God's plan is always best know matter how we feel or what we think, God's plan always works out for the better of everyone.

• Friday, October 24, 2008 - roofing

Yesterday Dad, Matt, Jordan and I put metal on a barn roof. Olivia came along to watch Gabriel for me! We  thought it was going to take around 3 days, but we finished it in one. It's been over a year since I've been on a roof, but once we got into it we were going pretty fast. It is always so much fun doing side jobs with my family; we tend to fool around a lot.( we make it so it's not really like work)

• Wednesday, October 22, 2008 - Winter

Well winter is here! It is suppose to snow today; itis already snowing in Syracuse and heading this way. I hope that it isn't a bad winter. I don't mind the snow, but the wind and below zero weather is terrible. Christmas is going to be a lot different this year, Dad and Jud are going to be gone, and it is Gabriel's first. It will be the last time having Christmas with mom and the kids for awhile. I don't know what next year will bring. Mom is upset that I'm not going and I have to say I'm not to enthused about it either. But, I'm praying God will allow us to get up there quickly.

• Monday, October 20, 2008 - Family

Dad's leaving next Monday! I don't know if I am ready for him to leave yet or not. Mom might not be leaving until the spring; she is hoping to leave sooner, but not me. My brother Matt is staying here which I am really glad about, I think I'd go crazy if I was left her all by myself. We will eventually be moving up there, but for now we are staying in New York. I am hoping God intervens and we go up real soon.

• Saturday, October 11, 2008 - Horses

Horses are my favorite animals; riding is one of the best things in the world.  I haven't been able to ride horses in over 9months, because I was pregnant. I would love to go riding soon, but I had a c-section so I probably won't be able to ride for awhile longer yet. One day I would love to have my own ranch with tons of horses. It would be nice to have my children grow up with lots of animals. Does anyone else love horses as much as I do?
