Hundred Acre Woods

Well now from experience I know that there truly is no such thing as an ordinary day. And here's how it started.

       Well I went to my sister in law's house to spend the night and we were up late watching a movie I guess it was around 10 or 11 and there was a knock at the door. So I woke up Kristina and I saw that whoever was knocking had a badge and a partner. And before Kristina could fully wake up I told her "It's the police!". And if nothing else it got her up quicker.  And all that's running through my mind was "Matt's been in an accident". And come to find out that one of her neighbors had been doing some bad stuff and ended up tearing a phone cord out of the wall and slitting the tires on his mothers car. And was hiding out somewhere arround the appartment complex ( EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKK). All I was doing for about 10 minutes was wringing my hands, worrying and thanking God that Matt was safe. So Kristina and I kinda locked ourselves in the bedroom and tried to stay up until Matt got home which was a waste of time because he needed to work late that night ( Till around 3 in the morning) and she and I fell asleep anyways.

       After all of that I finaly spilled the beans that I was planning on going home that day, and not realy intending to spend the night at all. Now I am realy glad I did. Kristina was scared enough as it was ( Although I am sure that I didnt help matters any because I tend to get very panicy ) but being alone when you are scared just makes it even worse.

       Hope you all enjoyed the post and I hope God doesnt remind me not to take my days for granted agian any time soon. I hope that last sentence made sence to you because I am still trying to figure out what I said.

Thanks for sharing Sarah! I can imagine how fearful it was for you two. Sounds like the man was't gonna harm anyone but angy at family. I suppose that what you did that day allowed you to spend the night with her for she needed you.? This is the day that the Lord has made we shall rejoice and be glad we are in it.
