We are almost debt free.  We have one more payment on our Tahoe (which was originally a 5 year note, we've paid close to $10K this year on it alone to pay it off completely).  We are avid listeners and followers of the Dave Ramsey plan (Total Money Makeover).  Our goal is to be completely debt free in 2008 and beyond.  Once the Tahoe's paid off, we'll focus on a few smaller medical bills that just came up in the last few months.  Once those are done, we'll be pretty much debt free aside from hubby's student loan (which we hope to pay off in the next few years).

Anyway, our goal this year is to save for our own land (and hopefully pay for it in cash).  We're considering moving to Missouri so if anyone out there knows of a good area in Missouri, let me know.  We've visited St. Jo and Kearney many years ago and these were pretty areas.  But, I'd love input from anyone out there who knows Missouri well.
