Aprons- Y/N? No. I have one of my late grandmother's, but I can never seem to remember to wear it.
Baking- Favorite thing to bake? Bread, muffins, just about anything.
Clothesline- Y/N? Yep. I absolutely love it.
Donuts- Ever made them? Nope, but would like to one day.
Everyday- One homemaking thing you do everyday? Cook.
Freezer- Do you have a separate deep freezer? We used to and are hoping to get one again soon.
Garbage Disposal- Y/N? Nope...but our dog and cat eat very well.
Handbook- Y/N? No - why?
Ironing- Love it or hate it? I don't mind ironing when I have to, but with line-drying everything, I don't have to do as much (thank goodness!).
Junk Drawer- Where is it? None.
Kitchen- Design and decorating? Our home is a "work in progress" so it's very country w/ a buffet, armoir and a few wall cabinets. I love roosters so many of the items in there have roosters on them.
Love- What is your favorite part of homemaking? Laundry, quilting, gardening
Mop- Y/N? Yes. I have a "special towel" that I use - simply splash cleaner (usually a mixture of Dawn and water) all over the floor and "skate" around the floor on the towel to clean it. Hubby came up w/ this way and it really works wonders. The kids think it's a blast so they always want to help.
Nylons- Wash them by hand or in the washer? Washer.
Oven- Do you use the window or open it to check? I discovered the oven light - what a marvelous invention. Now I use the light.
Pizza- What do you put on yours? I like everything except anchovies.
Quiet- What do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment? Read. I'm reading War & Rememberance right now by Herman Wouk. It's an awesome book.
Recipe card box- Y/N? No. I actually have little "kitchen diaries" that I use. I cut out or print recipes and tape them into the diaries and those become cookbooks for me. I just started my 4th one.
Style of house- 2 story barn.
Tablecloths and napkins- Y/N? Neither.
Under the kitchen sink- Nothing.
Vacuum- How many times a week? We don't have carpet so thankfully I never have to vacuum, but we do sweep every day or every other day.
Wash- How many loads do you do a week? Probably 12-15.
X’s- Do you keep a list of things to do and cross them off? Don't need one.
Yard- Who does what? Hubby takes care of it except for gardening which we all do (although he'll till the area and help plant)
ZZZ’s- What is your last homemaking task for the day? Picking up right before bed.
