More on Dish Soap & Soap Flakes
Okay, in my new quest to make dish soap (I feel like I've been like a dog with a bone - won't let it go until it's done), I came across some information on soap flakes. They are HARD to find. But, you can make your own soap flakes by grating ivoy bar soap. Apparently it's the only bar soap that's made that's truly SOAP, not a detergent. You can read the info at the following link: ivory soap link.
Also, you can add a little vinegar to the dish soap to help cut grease. My hubby said he didn't want me to make dish soap because he likes the degreasing capability of Dawn. But, I'm going to try this anyway to see if it works...
I'll let y'all know what I find out...

I am not advacating going against your DH. Now, having said that, I ordered castille soap from Soaps gone by. I will be trying it to make dish soap. I will let you know how it goes, as well.
