Tonight (8-8-08) was on of those special nights with my girls.   Hubby is in Mexico fishing.   So we girls kinda get days off.  We do work and stuff but we do not need to get in done by dinner, we can take ddaayyyss..... 

Tonight we went swimming in our back yard pool and laughed our butts off  .   Kristi made fun of me because I got in the pool funny.  I told her do not make fun of the old woman with a broken leg, aka me.   So Kristi got in worse than me, LOL !   Once we all were in Kristi had Shayna and I laughing so hard , no matter how hard Kristi tried to get into the floaty she could not.  It was so funny.  She did get in and sat in the toddler boat.   We should have taped her trying to get in.    It was just a nice night laughing and loving my girls.    They are such a blessing to me.   Here they are 16 yrs & 18 yrs old and they spend a Friday night with old mom in our pool.  

P.S, Shayna took here cat Moose swimming with us, the things that cat does , ok Shayna toooo.

We found the broom .  He was hiding in Shayna's room.  I have been looking for it/him for a week!   I told Shayna she should have told me she had it because I told his wife that he ran away with the mop! !     Shayna and Kristi started laughing.

The real story is the broom has been missing for a week and so has the mop.   The broom has been found  and yes, in Shayna's room but, the mop well it is still missing .    So just to be silly I told the story above to the girls.

Some days you just have to be silly.

Michelle needs prayer.  She is having trouble with her boyfriend Gill.  As you may know Michelle is pregnant with Gills child.  She got pregnant after knowing him less than a week.  I am sharing this info so you can see part of the trouble, not to be cruel.  

Michelle shared with me the other night about how Gill was texting one of his ex's about how much he loves her and misses her.  Michelle of course is upset about this.   She asked me what should she do?  I told her to kick him to the curb..   She will not of course.   Because as much as I hate to say this, she is using him, it is true.

Gill lives with Michelle and the grand-babies in his parents house( his parents do not know they are pregnant).  He gave Michelle a car of his to use and even put her on the title.  Michelle is going to school to be a nurse and is not working at all. 

  Michelle gave us a market list of foods she wanted.  We always have tons of food so we gave her some of what we have on hand.  That is why we stock up, to help people.    We do not mind helping her.  But we do wish that she would get a job to help support her 2 children instead of finding a new guy each time she is done with the old one.

What is odd to us is she needed food from us because she would not ask Gill to buy food, but she did ask him to take her and her sister Shayna our middle daughter out to dinner for Shayna 18th Birthday.  The place Michelle chose is her favorite steak house where a dinner is anywhere from $35.00 to $45.00 a plate.  She can not ask Gill for some food , but will ask him a few days after we gave her food , to take her sister out to dinner???  It make no sense to us.

The prayer we are asking for is for Michelle to find a job, she needs one , but also in case things do not work out with Gill.  That things to become clear to her about Gill, if he loves and wants this other woman instead of being with her, that she would put the babies 1st in her life, Gill is the 3rd new daddy this year for the babies.  She floats from man to man that is not good for the babies.  We are lost as what to do.  We keep her and the babies in prayer all the time.  We wonder if she needs to fall down harder.  It is hard for us to let her do that because of the grand-babies.  

We love Michelle so much and we want to see her do well in life, to be the best mommy to the babies, to find God again, to trust in Him.  

We are lost and hurting for her and the grand-babies.

Happy birthday Shayna my baby bear.  It is hard to believe you are 18 years old.  It feels like yesterday when you were a little girl.  I remember when you were 3-4 years old and had some kind of babies in your hand and were kissing them.  You showed me your babies and you had 3 black widows in your hand, worse you kept kissing them .  You never got bit.  You have always had a way with animals you just seem to know what they need and when the need it.

Do you remember when you were in kindergarten?  Your first day?  You made your teacher , the principal and me laugh so hard and we all tried to look serious.  Do you remember why?    My sweet baby bear on your first day of kindergarten your teacher said something ( I do not remember what) but you did not like it one bit.   So my sweet child you threw a chair at your teacher and told her where to go and how to get there  .   You were sent to the principal office and we all had a meeting.

You are just a wonderful blessing for our family.  You have a heart that is so big I do not know how you fit it in your chest.   You always are saving some kind of critter, at this time I have 13 baby chicks running around in my house.   When people come over they never know if there will be a piglet in diapers, or goats in diapers, or what ever critter is in need of being saved running wild in the house.     The way you love and care for your baby sister is a blessing too.   Even though you are a year older than her , you protect her and watch over her like a mother hen.   Until recently you two would still sleep together, not being able to be apart from one another, you guys still do that a lot of nights.

Shayna, the way you stepped up on took over the house and ranch when I broke my leg and had surgery is amazing.  You did my job at home and took over running the ranch without batting an eye.   Taking care of over 100 animals is not easy, but you did it.   You took such great care of me too.   Even though at times I was a pain because I hated being down and seeing my life being ran by you.   It was hard on me , but you had patience with me.   You even helped me cut of part of my cast.   You sister Kristi helped you during this time, but you ran the show.

Shayna you are such a wonderful mother type figure for Jeffie.  The relationship you have with him is a mother and son one, even though he is your nephew.   You are a blessing for him.  You give him what he needs.   He is verrrrry lucky to you as a role model in his life.   You and Jeffie have made people cry at church.   Sorry , but it is in a good way.  They see you two together and see the bond you two have and see the love between you guys, you make them cry.  Again sorry but it is true.  People always tell me what a good mom you are to him.   He might have been born your nephew , but your are the mom of his heart.  

I know when it is time for you to be married and have babies you will be a blessing to your husband and your babies just like you are to us.  You are a wonderful daughter and sister and auntie tea.   I could write forever.

Shayna we love and are thankful that God gave us you as a daughter.  All my love plus more , mommy.

Michelle, we do not understand her.   She moved back down here 5 + months ago.  She has not worked a single day, at all.   As you know she is having another baby.   She is going to school to be a nurse.  But she has not worked a day.   She lives with her new boyfriend and his parents.   Michelle has 2 babies at this time, plus the new one who will be here this spring.   What we do not understand is why she will not support the two babies she has now.  She expects all of us in the family to buy them all the food, clothes, diapers, I am mean everything.   We do not mind helping her and the grand-babies out, but we feel like Michelle needs to do her part.    She is the mom she needs to step up and start to pay for the her children, our grand-babies. 

Today she gave me a list of food she wants me to buy for her and her boyfriend and the grand-babies.   We have 3 freezers in our home a well stocked, over stocked pantry, so I will give them food from there.   We stock up to be able to help any one in need.

I just needed to vent a bit.  We just understand why she refuses to get on her feet to take care of the babies she has and the one she is expecting.

It is so funny how some people and insurance's are.   Today we had a earthquake in our city , yes, we live in Chino, it should be on your news.

We were at the Dr's when it hit.  It was funny. Hubby was in x-ray for his arm and Shayna and I were up stairs for her annual exam.  I took off down stairs to find the baby Kristi and I could not find her.  They started to get everyone out I went out front to look for Kristi and hubby, no luck.  I went back in they asked if I found her I said no so we started looking and found her and hubby in x-ray.  I am at our Dr's office 2 times a week and it has been that way for years, so I am able to run around there like I work there, so do our daughters, thanks Dr.P .   It  is great because people know us and know who the baby is and who I am looking for.  The baby is fine just wide eyed , she hung out with one of the Dr's and a nurse smiling and joking during the earthquake, because dad was in x-ray, then she went to x-ray to be with hubby.  We are not afraid of them(except for Kristi was) and are used to them.   My best friend Janet misses earthquakes now that she lives in Texas .

What is funny and sad is here in sunny southern  California on your home owners insurance it states that "acts of God are not covered".  Today soo many people are getting God out of their lives, no pledge allegiance, no saying the word Christmas break it is holiday break, some want the "in God we trust" off of our money  and so much more. But it is funny that insurance company's have the act of God clause still.  It could say an act of ??? instead.  I wonder when some one will try to remove God from our insurance forms??

We are fine. We just had a few books fall, well and a few of the cats hide.  I have not seen blue my kitten all day, but he is under my bed.  The poor little guy.
