A Quiet Day

It will be a quiet day here at Honey Hill Farm.  A time to sit in the front parlour by the large window, soft music playing, a fire in the woodstove....Silently crocheting, thinking of our week ahead.  Dearest will to work in the fruit cellar while I bake something wonderful to fill the cookie jar and begin a long forgotten sewing project. 

 Just another gentle, lovely day....

Sounds wonderful! Glad to know you're working on the crocheting. Love your pictures, the lighting looks great. Let us know how you manage to fill the cookie jar without emptying it as well, I just made chocolate chippers with pecans and I couldn't stay out of them no matter how hard I tried!

Hi Shan, nice to meet you and thank you for stopping by my blog. You asked how to leave a link on your blog.

In the "Add Entry" section write out your blog post. Highlight the words you want linked, like Laundry Soap and then click on the little icon that shows a globe with a chain link on it. A box will pop up with a place to add the URL (this is the web address for what you want to link to, and put this in there: http://www.thefamilyhomestead.com/laundrysoap.htm ) then hit "Add Link"... and you have it! :)
