Return of the Loom

{ 06:55, July 3, 2006 } { 0 comments } { Link }

Sharon brought my little loom back yesterday, all finished and ready to use.  She did an amazing job on it and you would swear that it's not the same one that left my house.  It's all sanded and has a wonderful soft smooth feel now, and it has color!  All the hardware is new and shiny, and its missing parts have been replaced.

Here is the loom before...

And here is the loom now...

Not only did she fix the loom, but she also showed up with "stuff" when she brought it back!  I have reeds, books, warp yarn ready to use, extra heddle rods for string heddles, string for string heddles, jig for string heddles, other parts that are for warping that I dont know names of, paper for wrapping the warp on the beam, threading hook, just look at it all!

I am totally amazed!  Sharon, you rock!  Thank you!

Now I just have to figure out how to get it warped and try to make something on it.

Time for chores!  Bye Bye!
