Making Bread

{ 07:28, June 13, 2006 } { 2 comments } { Link }

Ok, today is the day I will finally make bread, after trying to get it done for the past 3 days.  The laundry is caught up, the house is fairly clean, nobody needs me for anything at the moment, so away I go.  Keep your fingers crossed that I actually get it done.

Heard coyotes outside last night around 11:30.  They didn't sound too far away from our house.  Did a bit of guard duty on Miss Jar Jar Goats just to make sure they didn't get into her pen.  It wouldnt take much for a coyote to get in there, believe me.  It sounded like they went the other way though, which is good!

Moved around one of the wood piles in my backyard yesterday.  When we moved up here we dumped them pretty much where ever we could land them.  It's horribly unsightly to look out the diningroom window and see a huge pile of 2X4's staring back at you.  So they got dragged to the other side of the field where I can't see them from the house and the neighbors can't see them thru the trees.  I put them up on blocks so they won't sit and rot on the ground too.  My yard is looking much nicer now.  I still have to get the rest of the burning wood bucked up and stacked, and another pile of 2X4's moved, along with the boards for the raised bed gardens.  Slowly but surely its getting done!

Off to make bread!  Bye Bye!
