Winding Down

Another week starting. Only three more until we are done for the year with homeschool. I have been looking online for books for next year, and had forgotten how expensive they are. We got quite a few free teacher's books recently, but I need textbooks or workbooks to go with them.

I had both kids working on a second grade level this past year. I will be skipping third grade with Jessy though, since she is working far above where she currently is. It will be interesting to see how it goes teaching two different grades at the same time.

If anybody is interested, I will be having our second grade cirric. books up for sale in a few weeks. This is a complete package, and none of the books are written in, so they are almost like new. Drop me a line if you are interested and we can discuss the particulars.

The kids and Mike got me a rose bush for Mother's Day yesterday. Its a lovely tea rose in a beautiful shade of pink. I planted it right outside the front of the house where I can see it everytime I drive in or walk out the front door. Picture is forthcoming.

I was just saying that there is a just a few weeks left for our school too (public school). The year just few! I just love rose bushes. I am looking forward to your picture.
