Snow Storms...

Well I could hear the wind howling all night. We are still under the wind, freezing rain, blowing snow and snow squall warnings. They have now closed ALL the roads in our county and two neighboring ones. Also many other roads south and east of here. The police are telling everyone to stay off the roads. Unfortunately many will not listen (sigh). Many power outages also. Thankfully ours hasn't gone off.  The temps are dropping though, a -23 C wind chill for to day. Burrrr Very thankful for a wood stove!
I'll post some weather photos latter!

Brrrr....we have been dealing with simliar weather here and the howling winds as well. We have good windows and insulated curtains, but it is an old house, and it still shook the windows!

We too have had that nasty winter weather. Schools closed down for 2 days...and we are supposed to get it all over again in a day or so! Oh sos life in Northern Michigan....

...-23 definately is cold....here on the West Coast we actually got as low as -6C...and with the wind chill it was almost -15...Enjoy reading your blog.
