I realized I completely forgot to post about our Christmas. Christmas Eve morning we went to visit some friends and had a great time visiting. But the weather started to turn so we needed to head home early. We stopped to get a bite to eat on the long drive but the only place open that time of night was McDonald's. We hadn't eaten there in a year, we really don't like there food or policy's. But with no other choice...Half way through my meal I started feeling sick . Dh didn't feel very well either. We finally got home and got the house warmed up (wood heat). Got some snacks out and dh read the girls the story of Jesus birth. Tucked the littles into bed and was very glad that we had did all the giftwraping a few nights before LOL.
Christmas morning the girls came down to find a surprise from our friends. They had gotten a wonderful child's picnic table and step stool for them.

We all sat down around the fire with Christmas music playing softly in the background.

Our 2 year old was excited to help. She wanted to give all of her presents to everyone else LOL! At least she would open hers. On her bday a month ago she cried when we gave her her presents!!

The girls got some fun crafting things and some music goodies, drums and xylophones. Mommy need the Advil LOL.

Baby girl new just what to do with hers. Grabbed it wrapped in a big baby bear hug and tried to eat it. LOL

Latter in the day DD5 wanted to help make the Christmas dinner. So she helped break the bread for stuffing.

Aside from still feeling sick from McDonald's the night before we had a nice day. It wasn't until latter that night that I got really sick. I spent most of boxing day sleeping on the couch with a very painful tummy.

Your children are so beautiful. You must be very happy to see those smiling faces each day. I cherish the memories of my girls as children. But I also cherish each new day with them as adults , mothers and sisters in the Lord.
