Hi all, I'm still here.  Just been sick and busy.  I'm fighting a tummy bug that's been going around.  Thankfully the littles haven't caught it.  Dh had it for a few days but he always shakes things fast!  I really need to start rebuilding my immune system.  Also time to make up more elderberry jelly. 

We are still working on the reno's.  Getting closer to finishing the new siding on the barn.  It's getting much closer to winter now so we'll have to wait until spring to stain the house and barn.  But that's ok, something to look forward to!  I can see how it will look, a slate blue with white trims. 

It's funny how our weather has been this year.  Summer was HOOOOT and dry.  Falls been a yo-yo.  Our Thanksgiving weekend earlier this month we needed the AC on while cooking the turkey!  A few days latter we were using the wood stove it was so cold.  Now we've had another few days of heat and back to cooler temps tomorrow.  It's still very dry though.  Many streams have dried up, even ones that we've never seen dry before.  We've had small amounts of rain then when you go out side the ground is still dusty.

We had a really nice day out today though.  We had some appointments and shopping to do.  In between we went to the park for a pick nick and a short walk.  It's probably the last hot day of the year so we had a great time!
