Oh I'm finally getting a chance to post lol.  I've been so busy seems I just can't get on here lately.  Well lets see what have I been up to...

Last Sat. was DD2 birthday!  Now she's 3 years old oh my how the time has gone!  We had a real nice day, she was gifted with new coloring supplies she asked for, lots of play dough stuff and a little trike.  She's still trying to get the pedaling down lol.

 

I've still been working on  my website.  I've set up all the permits and such needed just waiting for the papers on the last one to be mailed to me.  We should be ready to open June 1st. :-)

 

We've also been busy getting the gardens ready.  Our tiller was acting up so dh had to have it looked at last week.  We have some of our potatoes in.  The girls had lots of fun helping to plant them!  Dh also tilled up the area I'll be putting the field pumpkins.  Hopefully we can get the corn in this weekend to.  We were suppose to get rain on the weekend, but it moved up and started today instead.  Now they say the weekend will be nice.   I've also weeded 3/4's of the main flower bed.  Dh is going to get a few loads of mulch soon.  I'll soon be to big to get down and weed lol.  So I want to get this done and mulched before the little one comes in July.

Dh also picked up the parts needed to fix our tractor today and picked up the lumber for our raised beds.  I love using raised beds, so much more space efficient and easier to care for!

 

I set up our finch feeder to and it didn't take long for the pretty gold finches to find that.  I also made a bird bath.  So easy and cheep to do!  I took a large plant pot saucer and filled it with pebbles added a a few larger rocks.  Then set it on top of a log and added water.  It took the birds less then a day to find it.  And they love it!   So nice watching them splash around. :-)
