When we got up this morning the sky was BLACK but it felt so nice and warm.  We knew we had storms coming from the look of the sky.  I checked the weather and yup a cold front was moving through.  Rain and thunderstorms today.  By the time I had breakfast almost cooked it was starting to rain.  Dh was suppose to go this morning and till a friends garden.  He phoned to cancel that until better weather.  Then wouldn't you know an hour later it started to clear up.  We did get some good down pours that morning though, maybe a minute at a time. 

We managed to get a few things done out side though.  Dh put in another fence post.

I pulled the bark off the mill ends we used as deck rails last year.  We left it on because we liked the look, but knew it would start coming loose eventually.  Well with some of it falling off, I figured it was a good time to strip it all.

I've also started washing all the winter coats etc. and putting that a way.

 

This afternoon our storm finally arrived.  We had hail, high winds and heavy rain for about half an hour for the worst part.  When I went to take the dog out after I found our garbage can and recycling box half way down the drive way.  The recalling box had been full and heavy! Our power flicked a few times to.  But thankfully it wasn't to bad.
