Oh the weather has been so beautiful here this weekend!  It's been in the 20's C.  We have spend almost all of it out side.  Let's see, Last Fri. I raked out my largest flower bed.  Lots of goodies coming up in there, iris, rambling roses, bleeding harts and some herbs.  There will be more coming up to as the weeks go on.  Then I raked out a section of the veggie garden.  Dh cleaned up the tiller and tilled up that section.  Did some other yard clean up then we had to go to town for a few things.  Took the girls to get new shoes, they had both out grown there old ones.  They were very  happy they found exactly what they were hoping for.  Then dh took us out for dinner and ice cream!  What a nice treat that was.  We went to a local drive in place.  Their burgers are really good, and they have great ice cream to.

 

Saturday dh took a few dump runs.  Getting rid of a lot of burnable junk.  Yes we have been here almost 3 years and we are STILL getting rid of the last owners stuff.  He was a nice fella but a real packrat and a lot was left behind.

I cleaned up the rest of the flower beds and then the girls helped me pack it all into the wheel barrow and take it to the compost pile.  What wonderful little helpers they were!  And it's much easier for them to bend, then it is me over my big baby belly lol.

 

Sunday we went to visit a friend at their hot dog cart.  Had lunch there and was happy to hear they were doing well.  Then we headed to one of our favorite parks for a hike.  Ran into some friends there and had a nice walk together.  After that we went to a little tractor museum/petting farm.  Not all of the animals were out yet but it was nice for the kids to see the calves and pony again.  And dh loves looking at the tractors there.  They are all his favorites Massy Harris and Massy Ferguson.
