I wanted to share a pic from our daughters 5th bday last week. I would have loved to share more but our camera was acting up and most of the photos didn't come out. 
This is her with her new drum she asked for.
She likes it ok and was very excited to open it! But we are still keeping out eye's open for a real drum for her. Dh looked but couldn't find anything that wasn't electronic! And that's what she and he really wanted.
She had a great day though. We went out for her breckfast she asked for. Then she got to pick out a pair of sunglasses and some new stickers. Then we went home for cake and gifts. She still askes me all the time if she's still 5 lol. I can't belive she's getting so big!

She is adorable, and yes they grow up so fast don't they. My dd is 24 and I can't believe that happened. lol

I know that you are in Ontario but I'm not sure what part. I live in the K/W area.
We bought a drumset for our children last summer at x/s cargo for under $200( Can). I know that x/s cargo is in K/W and Hamilton but I'm not sure where else.
The kit we got isn't the "highest" quality but it has stood up to two teenagers playing it every day.
Maybe you could check it out.
Your daughter is adorable! I love to see kids getting excited about music(even the drums...lol).
