I'm Back, nice weather

My it's been a long time since I've been able to post! I was down with the flu for a bout a week, but I'm starting to get over it now.
We got our van back last week and it's running great now! So glad to have that over with!! With that done we were able to get our rabbits to market finally and do some shopping.
I've been working at getting caught up around here it's coming slowly. I'm now in the always tired stage of pregnancy lol. It would help a lot if the little ones didn't insist on taking turns waking me through the night (sigh). Anyway to day I did get caught up on the dishes and made a batch of muffin mix and quick mix. Tomorrow I really want to get some baking done. It's been ages since I've made my own bread! Now that the morning sickness is mostly over I think I can stand the smell of yeast and flour again.
The weather has been so nice the past few days. It got up to 15C on Tuesday and that helped a lot of the snow and ice melt. We still have a few feet though. A cold front came through last night and it's below 0 again. But I don't mind to much, a slow melt is better for the ground. Let it absorb the water and reduce flooding. Still I can't wait for spring to come and stay! I've seen some Canada geese flying over to, honking out there arrival.
DD(4)'s birthday is coming up next week. She requested one of our favorite places to eat as her speshal treat. So we are going to celibate her day early on Sat. She wants to go to a local restaurant that has a breakfast buffet, then back here for cake and her gift. She's been asking for just one thing since her last birthday, a drum! Dh got a nice little electronic drum pad with a microphone she can sing with. I think she'll just love it. I can't belive she's going to be five already, were has the time gone?? |
