Van, rabbits, sick

It's been a little while since I've had time to update here. We had our van in the shop and the lights fixed and a few other little things. Now it's broken again. We were up to our midwives yesterday and it was stalling out on the way home. Last night it wouldn't start right for dh, so he's trying to make arrangements to have it towed to our mechanics. It might be the fuel pump but who knows...
 Our snowblower broke down again, this time the drive shaft or something like that. The wheels wont turn, should have that back in a few days to. So so far this months the break downs have been, the furnace twice, snowblower twice, van twice, truck once (at least lol), and a bunch of smaller house hold items on the fritz. This always happens when your trying to pay off debt! And on top of it between bad weather closing the roads and dh being sick he's had to miss about a week off work this month. Poor fella is off today with the flu, his work mate came in sick with it yesterday and had to leave early. But spread it around first. ARG!
 Anyway all went well at our midwife visit. I just love the lady's up there, it's so nice to be around people that put your right at ease.
 They have delivered our last two little ones. One was a very easy birth the other very hard but they were awesome through both. The weather is starting to warm up a little. It's 0C today. Unfortunately there is so much ice and snow build up on the roof of the old summer kitchen that as it's melting, it's backing up through the flashing and into the house. Thankfully it's just a dripping and not a pouring! But with the roof so steep and being steel we can't get up there to get it off. We'll have to wait until it slides off. With this weather it shouldn't take long. And at least it's just dripping in the laundry room and it doesn't have drywall in there to get wrecked.
The nice thing about this weather is it means spring is coming sooner or later lol. Also maple syrup weather will soon be hear.  The weather was clear enough on Sat. that we were able to take a load of rabbits to market. By the time we got home it was starting to snow again lol. We've also had some nice litters born this week! |
