Well our new washer is here!!! We had our stove looked at also. Turned out one burner needs the knob/thermostat replaced and the other one was just a worn out element. So he put the good element from the other burner on that. Now I have 3 working lol. He has to come back with the parts to fix the other burner. Some were his stove repair bag has gone missing and it has all his parts in it. Hopefully it wasn’t forgotten at someone’s house and they decided to keep it! He also had a look at our fridge it leeks terribly! He thought it might have had a toob clogged so tried to blow it out. We’ll see if that helps, next time he comes he’s going to clean the condenser and such to as it’s been running a lot. This fridge is a side by side and I hate it! There is NOT enough room in the fridge side for anything!! We were asking about what he had available in fridges and got to talking. We have an OLD, OLD fridge you know the ones that ran on ammonia and had rounded edges and a very small open freezer inside. He’s going to get a quote on getting that fixed for us. He had one that was an old coke fridge he did for himself. He put a new condenser on it and a ½ hp motor and it’s very electric efficient. It would cost us about the same to do this as it would to buy gently used standard fridge. So I’ll have a look at it tonight and if I think it has enough room for what I need then we might go that road in the spring.
