Well the rain is getting heaver and the winds stronger.  Dh and I just finished a lot of yard work in the rain lol.  Put a way all the lawn chairs, kids bikes and toys that were on the porch.  Brought in the 30 + pumpkins that were on the porch I'll have to start cooking them up tomorrow! 

 

Just as I was going out side a flock of what looked like a thousand starlings flew over squawking!  It looked like they were running from something!  I wonder if they know something about the coming weather we don't....Well all the dishes are done and most of the laundry so if the power goes out at least we will be warm and have clean clothes.  Cooking is not a problem that can be done on the BBQ or on top of the wood stove.  Although not a cook stove it puts out lots of heat on top to fry or simmer with.  And You could easily pan fry also inside it on a bed of coals.  I've had to do that before although that was in a different house.  And anyone out there using a kerosene heater you can also fry on top of them.  That's how I did most of my cooking for the first few months of our marriage! LOL

 

Our new kitten whom I expected to be hiding like a normal kitten for the next few days already owns the house! LOL!!!  She's all over my lap and keyboard as I'm trying to write this. heehee

 

Dh is making us a yummy pizza dinner tonight with a salad and garlic bread.  Yum!  I can't wait!!!
