My Weekend

Well I'm finally getting a chance to sit down here! I've been so busy I haven't had much pc time this weekend. :-) Last Fri we headed out to look through a tractor yard, then off to the store to pick up new ends for our hose and wasp killer and more food storage buckets. Dh treated us to a light lunch at a little drive in shop. Latter that day he hooked up the auto mated water system for our rabbit barn. It works great!!! And we are so happy to have it set up now :-D. Also he had to kill a HUGE yellow jacket nest we found the weekend before. It was in the attic of our old summer kitchen roof. And very large and active. Dh told me it was the size of a beach ball
Sat we started working on the new fence. Dh dug the first post hole and got down 1 1/2 feet and hit bed rock! Not good....Did the next 4 no problem getting 3 feet down. :-) So we are just going to move the first post. Then he went to pick up more rabbit feed, and some other things we needed for the fence. And made us pizza for supper :-D.
Sunday we had a light brekie and then took the kids to the park to play and played out side here most of the day. It was cooler but nice.
Then this morning I found out we were down to 3 pullups! Oooopps I should have had enough to get till Fri but some how extra's got used up. So We had to run out and get them. Also picked up a crochet hook size 9 mm. I had sat down last night to start working on a shawl and my 9mm had disapred I was SURE I had one! But I can't find it anyway.
Also put a way 3 loads of laundry and diapers, mopped the kitchen floor, vacuumed the living room and have most of the dishes done.
Thankfully baby Rachel has been sleeping better the last 3 nights so I'm getting more rest! A few more nights of that and I'll be back to normal :-). |
