Peach Jam

I canned this yummy jam last year. It taste like peach pie!
Peach Jam
4 cups pureed peaches
1 cup apple juice or water
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 to 3 cups sugar
a 1 inch piece of ginger root shreded
1 package no sugar pectin
Mix in pectin with fruit until dissolved.
Stirring bring the mix to a boil, add sugar, ginger and lemon juice.
Return to a boil for 5 min.
Skim foam.
Pour into jars and can in a water bath canner for 10 min. |
