You asked:
Hi Kim! Beets...I would love to see a picture of your garden. It must be huge! :) I'm going to get a picture of my one zuchinni plant this am that is doing great. I'm not sure when onions are done cooking underground, this is our first year that they have survived, what am I looking for? :) Blessings, Theresa
Answer:
I'll try to get some pics of the garden soon! Onions are normally harvested in the fall when the tops start turning brown and fall over. Pull them up and let dry on a rack in the shade for a week or so till the skins are dry. BUT you can pull them up for fresh use any time the bulbs are big enough.

Thanks Kim, I got so curious I went and pulled some out that I thought were not doing well, (had a family come over and their little guy sat on them ha ha!) and they were only about the size of pearl onions..I planted them in April. I have a whole row though I'll wait for :) thanks for that info!
Cherries...I'm so sad I missed getting them at one of the local farms here. Next year! Or maybe the Lord would give us some land with lots of Cherry trees...:)))
Blessings, Theresa
