There is a First for Everyone!

My son, C, has not been all that interested in the kitchen throughout his life. I really don't blame him. i don't much like the place either. I am so grateful actually, to have my son, J, take emense joy out of baking and cooking because I am hoping that in another year or two I can escape it altogether and leave it all in his capable hands. However, this is not about J. this time.
C actually took the eniciative to make lunch today. He wanted rice and curry and so he asked me how and went and did it. I only had to check on him once when he put the rice straight into the rice cooker without the inner pot. I helped him empty that and showed him how to do it right. After he got the rice to cooking he started in on the curry and did a fantastic job. It tastes very yummy and I'm very proud of him. I have discovered that he can cook! Hurray! I have also dicovered that he is an extremely messy cook! Groan!

I found your blog through Nanettes and was wondering if you would share this recipe for your son's curry? It looks absolutely fabulous!
