Good morning everyone. It's chilly this morning but they say it's going to warm up into the mid 60's. YEAH hanging out clothes to dry today!!! Which is a God send because Thursday's I wash bedding and 5 beds makes for a lot of washing.
I had a good but busy day yesterday. Busier than I prefer but it's not an every day occurrence. I got things cleaned up but didn't get the kitchen finished so that's brought over to today's list. Hopefully I can get it all done today if not this evening the boys and I will be working on it, I don't like to be working in the house when John gets home. He's tired and wants to relax and that's totally understandable. So I try to get the kids all finished up with their chores and such before he comes home. The only problem I find in this is that my oldest doesn't get home until 4:40 pm and John gets home between 5 and 5:20 pm. So we are rushing a bit.
I started a new throw for my couch. That gives me something to do that relaxes me. But seeing how far behind I am today I may not get to work on it until this evening.
The meet went well. I am one proud momma!!!
He also ran the 400 meter dash which is one full lap around the track at full speed- he came in 2nd.
He ran the 200 meter dash- which is half a lap going as fast as you can possibly go- he placed 1st in his heat-a heat is when you have more than group of kids running and you all compete with the other heats by your times. Over all I think he spotted in 4th. NOT BAD FOR ME YOUNG MAN!!!!
We got home last night between 9 and 9:30, fed the girls (my dogs) and fell asleep.
I have to deep clean the bed rooms today as well as finish the kitche and do some daily cleaning and laundry. So a very busy day around the house for me. I'm hoping to find the time to work on my throw but we shall see about that one.
Dinner tonight will be chicken casserole and salad w/ choice of dressing. |

Jason is amazing. I watch the young man in the making and he's getting so big and strong so quickly. Last year he ran track and the difference in one year in his speed and strength is awesome to say the least. I see a boy that was into the sport to goof off and play with his friends (last year) turn into a young man that is working hard for his school and himself to do the best he can do and to push himself further than he thought he could do. I took my camcorder and started a tape on him. He ran the 4x200 meter relay - this is a sprint race-leg 1 (man 1) was a fast boy - leg 2 and 3 should have been in solo events as they didn't have the quick starts that is needed for the sprinting events. Jason was leg 4 and had to play catch up. They put the fastest person in leg 4 position for this purpose. THey came in 4th.
