Ok I admit I don't have a homestead yet per say but I am doing things now well as much as I can in the homestead mind set.  The weather is much cooler than yesterday,I spent some time yesterday sitting on my back porch taking in the sun and now it's about 20 degrees cooler

I miss the sun and warmth of Summer but I do have to admit that the cooler fall like temperatures are putting me in the holiday mood. It's much harder to think Thanksgiving when it's 75* outside.

Today I'm going to sit down and make my shopping list. I'm hoping to get it all done Sunday.  We are going to be at that house tomorrow working. I'm praying to have it complete and give the owners back the keys by Saturday evening. 

As for the rest of my day, I need to get the house cleaned up and of course laundry to do.  Then tonight we will more than likely go over to that house and do some more cleaning.

Dinner tonight will be Chicken N Noodles (mock chicken parmesan over noodles)

Well that sums up my day. LOL
