That's the saying for today. There is something about these rainy days that just make it so hard for me to get going. I just want to curl up and go to sleep. It looks like it's set in for the day. Yesterday I washed 6 loads for laundry and hung out 4 of them on the line,once the line was filled I started using my dryer. I'm all caught up now,so today should be better.
The boys got their report cards yesterday they did awesome!!!! Both all A's and B's,I'm so proud of them. Brandon kept his grades up even with starting a new school and being the first 6 weeks, Jason kept his up even with it being football season. Proud Mommy here
I have to pick Jason up at 5 this evening from practice. He's going to be soaked and oh my his stuff will be soooooo muddy. YUCK!
As for today, on my to do list is........ Cleaning.......
Daily cleaning:
Make all beds Laundry all to be done daily this means washed,dried, All floors carpeted or not need to be swept or vacuumed. All non carpeted floors need to be mopped daily. Wipe down counters and sink in kitchen. Make sure all dishes are done (do not allow them to pile up) Wipe down bathroom counters and sink. Clean toilet(s). Sweep porches,front steps and walk.( won't do this to rainy) Clean storm door glass. Pick up as you go through your day. Tuesday: Living Room
Go through papers/organize papers polish furntiure clean glass doors, tv screen, computer screen. Clean ceiling fan Clean inside and out picture window and inside window sill. Wipe door and door knob wipe switch plates Clean baseboards swiffer the walls (if needed) vacuum the furniture Vacuum the corner and around baseboards and under furniture Vacuum and mop floor
I also need to do something for dinner. I was going to make spaghetti but I can't seem to find the pound of hamburger that I had in the freezer. I'm going to check to see if it's down stairs if not I have no idea what happened to it.
 I also want to make some cookies for desert tonight. That's Tuesday at the Channels. |
