|
I love my children dearly but I just wish I could use the bathroom in peace just once. It never fails I can walk to the bathroom no kid in sight but as soon as I get in there, knock knock Mom are you in there. UGH! LOL Kid's gotta love em!
God Bless,
Tammy

Same thing happens here! My oldest ds used to stick his fingers under the door as well while he was calling for me. LOL

And if it isn't someone knocking on the door, it's a blood curdeling scream of someone dying in another part of the house! Is it real or is is fake? Do you ignore or do you stop and rush to the sound?
Been there, done that!!

My all time record for "visitors" in the bathroom....2 toddlers, 1 Chesapeake Bay Retreiver, 1 Labrador, 1 dachshund and a cat.
I learned to lock the door and if the kids screamed through the door I would ask "Are you bleeding" (no) "Are you going to die" (no)..."Well, then you can wait."...giggle....Works everytime!

Yes I do know how that is. My daughter is always wanting to be in there with me and if I don't make sure the door is tightly closed or locked my dog Princess will push it open and walk right in,she can open the door but can she close it NOOOOOO!!! LOL
I know exactly what you mean about the fighting. My youngest son is the biggest over reactor I know. If you touch him he dramtically falls to the ground, screaming and crying that he's hurt. OY! LOL
But I do have to say that when the day comes and the kids are all gone I will dearly miss these chaotic days.
God Bless,
Tammy

That is SO funny & brings back a ton of memories. It kinda makes me miss those knocks at the door now, hearing "Mommy!" whenever I disappeared for a moment. They would jump in the shower, tub, or come in to "visit" just about everytime. Now they are older...reading books, drawing, playing games with their siblings, exploring their world around them. And when they are quiet-Mommy is calling after them now. Cherish the moments of hearing those little voices calling after you, it doesn't last. May the Lord bless all mothers with His strength for each new day~Karyn

you feel any better - my husband does that to my daughter, lol. He works overnights, so is sleeping during the day. It must be some instinct he has ... as soon as she settles in there to primp, bathe or anything else that takes more than 30 seconds, he's out of bed and at that door ... Maybe it's part of her Mommy Training, lol.
