Ok so I have the recipe. I  actually printed it off from Crystal Miller when she posted about on her blog (don't remember which one). I am going to make some I have the borax,the washing soda but no soap no fels naptha or ivory but I do have dial.  Can I use it instead?

Yes, you can use the Dial as a substitute.
