Good morning everyone. We just went to bed last night and started hearing thunder then flashes of lightening but no rain. Carissa got scared and came in to me so I had to comfort her. She finally fell asleep but the storm was just starting. I did get to sleep and woke up to rain. UGH! I know I know rain is good and we need it for life and such but I was really wanting a nice day to hang out my laundry and drink my morning coffee on my backyard swing. Oh well Lord willing tomorrow.
Yesterday was just wonderful. I cooked all morning,we had so much food. WHen my family got here,my mom and I got some last minute things cooking and headed outside for the young ones to find eggs. John and I filled 6 with 1 dollar in each in quaters so they could hear the jingle of money and get all excited. It worked! LOL
Then we came in and mom and I got the rest of dinner ready,set it up buffet style and everyone lined up and dug in. LOL But before anyone could touch their food we of course said grace. After dinner we all watched Narnia,very good movie. But I have to take the dvd back because it keeps freezing when you try to watch it. We just bought it for Jason for Easter,I was a bit upset by this. So more than likely today I will be running to Walmart to exchange it for another movie.
I have to clean up the bathroom today and of course do some laundry. The floors all need attention as well as some regular daily cleaning that must be done to keep the house presentable. We have burbur carpet in our living room but have decided to take it out. Brandon is allergic to of all things DUST,this is a big one because we living on a gravel road that is very very dusting when it's not raining. Well I can't steam clean my carpets anymore because of this sooooo we are taking it up and going to refinish the hardwood flooring underneath. Plus with the dogs in the house and one we are still training,not good.
Dinner tonight will be soup beans and cornbread.
