Good morning everyone. We had a few severe thunderstorms role through our area last night. High winds,hail,heavy downpours,thunder,cloud to ground lightening. Dangerous stuff to be out in. Then early this morning when I was still in bed,I was woken up by a gushing sound. I got up and looked out the window and it looked like a monsoon out there it was raining so hard. I just know my basement is flooded now. OY!
My plans for today. Well we are going to be down 2 children. Jason is going to a friends for the day and Brandon is as well. I am planning on checking out the area where I'm about to start my garden and make sure it's ok to put it there. I really am just looking to see if it's flooding or not. I am going to make some more bread. You know the funny thing is that we go through more bread now that I make ours than we ever did with store bought. LOL
Tonight we are going to color some eggs. Then we will sit down and I'll read them the Easter story from the bible and we will talk about that. Laundry is on my to do every day so no big surprise there. I want to work on my throw again some. I picked up some more yarn that was clearanced down at walmart. It's really pretty. When I get the throw done I will take pictures so you can see what I'm talking about. IT's sort of rainbow colors but dark. Does that make sense?
Dinner tonight will be am in the pm: turkey sausage,homemade buttermilk pancakes (I'll post the recipe later today) and syrup to go with it.
