My Simple Woman's Daybook
I am excited to join in on the Simple Woman's Daybook sponsored by Peggy Here is my first entry....
FOR TODAY May 20th (a day late but I hope it is ok)
Outside My Window... I see the horses graizing all around, my sweet son enjoying his quiet time swinging in the oak tree and scattered clouds telling me some rain is coming our way.
I am thinking... about all the things I would love to do outside. I so badly want to start my garden but must wait on the help of me dear hubby.
I am thankful for... my dear husband and the work that he does to support our family, for my children who are so helpful around the house, for my friends whom I hold dear, for the Lord who comforts me and holds me up when I don't have the strength to do it myself.
From the kitchen... I hear breakfast dishes being done, the girls talking about making the dandelion jelly we will tackle this afternoon. For dinner we will prepare a pork roast, potatoes, salad and homemade rolls.
I am wearing... my comfy cotton/spandex shorts and on oversized T. I ribbon of cloth in my hair and cushiony white socks that make my feet sing.
I am creating... Today I will be working on a watercolor painting of my latest Illustraion Friday sketch
I am going... to the grocery this morning to get what we need for the next two days then to the pharmacy to pick up medication refills.
I am reading...My latest issue of Season at Home magazine. Makes my soul sing.
I am hoping... that all my friends and family members are safe and well.
I am hearing... the beat of the clothes dryer as it drys the morning wash
Around the house... there are so many things to be done. I am starting my collosal cleanup again and making a list of what to do room by room starting with MINE.
One of my favorite things... this week is the sound of baby kittens calling out to be fed and the roaring of their little motors as they cuddle and fall asleep.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: This week is going to be a quiet one. We are not running hither and yon like we have been. I am going to concentrate on projects I have going on here, at home, to complete them. We will have two homeschool group birthday parties this week which we are looking forwrad to and last but not least I will be making some pajama's for the girls to take to Girl Scout camp in July.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...

* Share a Blessing!
