BFS assignment #14

Dear Jesus

Thank you so much for your many blessings. Thank you for the loving husband you have honored me with and the children I so longed to raise. There have been times in my life when I didn't know where my strength was going to come from with sick children at my feet, a husband away fighting for our country, and there you were. I could not have made it without you. You have always been there for me.

I felt your strength the most when I had to say goodbye to my mother and father. Oh Lord, it is never easy saying goodbye but I thank you for the peace in knowing that goodbye is not forever and that I will see them again some day when I walk the streets of heaven along side you.

Thank you Lord for all you have given me. I look forward to the blessings that are in my future and to you will be given all the glory.

I love you Lord

That is such a beautiful letter Cindy. I know how hard it can be with children and being alone. I lived for many years over 700 miles away from all of my family and as much as I disliked it, I am thankful that it taught me how to grow and learn to be self-sufficient. Thank you for participating in the BFS and I hope you'll continue to do so.
