Aaahhh what a wonderful evening to sit in the warmth of my home and be creative.

It is raining outside, freezing rain I might add. They are calling for an accumulation of 1" of ice by morning. Brrrrr

We spent most of our day at riding lessons and ohhh it was cold. Toward the end of lessons (starting at 10am and ending at 2pm) the misty rain started falling and the temp to a plunge real quick. My poor toes were froze!  When we arrived home two of our own horses had decided to take a walk through the cattle gate and into the neighbors yard once again. It took all five of us to get them back in. The wind was cold, the rain freezing, and those lil buggers just as happy as can be. Brrrrr After about 25 minutes we had them both back in the pasture and we headed into the house. We all cuddled together to get warm for a bit and before we knew it we were all fast asleep. Ahhhh it felt so good, all of us just huddled under covers.

Dinner time came, we all ate a good healthy meal and headed out to give the horses a bit more hay before calling it a night, and wouldn't you know it.... the ground was a sheet of ice. I pray it won't get any worse and that we will be able to attend church in the morning but I just don't know. Soo for now I will just cuddle up with a my crochet hook and yarn and watch a bit of tv.
