Making something New.

Yesterday DS and I were the only ones home for the whole entire day. Dd2 stayed with a friend the night before, Dd1 was doing Equine teeth with Amanda and Dh was at work.

We played Match Box Car demolishon derby, watched Polar Express, and then sat down to make some angels. He also wanted to learn how to make the crochet angels so I gave it my best shot. I am right handed, he is left. The first row was a bit of a challenge but the second and third row were easier. We didn't finish the crocheted one's but here is what we did finish...

they were so easy and fun to make. I plan to make a dozen more. Then we were trying to decide where to put all the Christmas cards we were receiving so we covered this cardboard with material and came up with this... We hung by the front door so that all those who come to visit can enjoy them.

Anyway, we had a lot of fun. Just my son and I. Thank you Lord for this precious time to spend with him. Precious memories were made!
