Blogger Friend School Assignment #10 "Virtual Cookie Exchange"
Part A of our assignment is to share our Favorite Chirstmas Cookie Recipe and even though my all time favorite is Pecan Sandies with colored suger tops, we choose three NEW cookie recipes's to make for our Baking Day. This year we used a SPRITZ Cookie Recipe from 2 Peas in a Pod, Peppermint Cookies from Proverbs Family and then shared two recipe's from the Food for Family Magazine. We were going to make Tamara's sugar cookies from Training Hearts but we ran out of time sooooo I think another baking day is in order. hehehe 
Part B of our assignment was to share a memory about our Holiday baking experiences. My children and I love love love to bake cookies at Christmas time. We like to gather together with another family and bake all day long. For the past six years we have shared a special day with one family and we just bake all day.  This year we were blessed with new friends to share this time with. Tracy, Erin, and Evan were so fun to hang out with and bake cookies. We did them at Tracy's house this year and really had a great time. All the kids took part, even little Evan. He loved to turn on the mixer and hear it hum.  We met Tracy and her family through our Equine Classes. I have put together a SmileBox slideshow for the occasion. Click HERE if you would like to see it.
Part C is to share a scripture that is on my heart this week. That would have to be.... "Jesus said, "Feed my sheep.

I LOVED the slideshow! I'll be starting my baking very soon. I need to do this assignment.. I also haven't forgotten that you tagged me! I'm sooo behind on my blogging, but hope to catch up soon. :o)
