What do we do when a Loved one goes home?
Friends, I have to tell you., my heart is broken. This past week a dear friend of mine lost her dear neice. She was only 15. I have been a Christian believer now for 16 years and still have to question when such a young child is taken home before us. Shaunell was a sweet Christian young girl, loved the Lord and everyone she came in contact with. She has two younger brothers and her parents who grieve for her. I don't know them personally but I do know their extended family and know that they are all hurting right now which makes me hurt too.
What do we do when the Lord calls home our children, siblings, friend, ??? I know the pain of loosing dear dear loved ones as both of my parents have passed away at very young ages. It is a pain that lasts for what seems like forever. I try to remember the good days we had, the things they told me, the love they had for me and yes it makes it easier for the moment. Isn't there always that thought in the back of our minds though... "Why Lord, Why now?"
I wish I could reach out and hold this family and tell them that it is all okay, she is in a better place, but those words are stuck in my mouth. I just can't get them out.
What do you say when someone looses a loved one?
YOUR IN MY PRAYERS!!!
* Share a Blessing!

You are a dear friend. I feel the love across the miles.
You asked, "What do you say when someone looses a loved one?" I think Schaunell's dad, Brad, said it best when, at the funeral home Friday night, a young lady coming through the receiving line sobbed, "I just don't know what to say to you." Brad, with a sweet smile, replied, "Say that you love us and will pray for us"
Keep the faith and know that each of those 15 years of our neice's life, and the years your Mom and Dad had, were a gift from God not only to them, but most assuredly to us.
Love & Blessings,
Laurie
My love and prayers are with you too.

What do you say? That has always been hard for me to figure out too....I have lost both my parents and you know that what people say is all out of love but the pain is still there for you to work through...Just knowing you have those people to lean on at such a hard time is something special..I will pray for this family...God be with you...Debbie
